The Rat Patrol


7-11-04 This bug was slated to become a Baja Bug when it was given to us years ago. This was the first time it saw the light of day in over 3 years.	7-11-04 Although we didn't know the total build plan at the time, the one thing that we did know was that it needed to go from sky high to scraping the pavement low.

7-11-04 The motor that we decided to use was an old class 5 race motor that was just sitting in storage. The motor has many hours on it but with the high compression and the evil cam it still has a lot of heart.	7-11-04 On July 11th a group of us from Volksrods.com got together to pool our resources and skills. As a team We devised a plan to build one of the most outrageous chopped top, fenderless Bugs ever built. Our goal was to have it finished for the Billitproof show in late September.
