I'll start with the cowl section that I built, then the battery and master cylinders. I've probably got at least twenty hours bringing the wheels back into shape.
The pedals are back in and the throttle pedal and cable are working. The brakes are bled so I'm all set for the next step.

With the wheels and tires now on, the chassis is looking really complete, so it’s time to start with the body. The first part to be bolted on is the cowl section. Once the cowl is on the master cylinders can be put on. When they go on I will finally be able to put fluid in the brake and clutch systems and bleed the lines checking to assure that there are no leaks in the system. I have already carpeted the inside of the cowl so the pedals can be bolted right in. I had to fabricate the throttle peddle from scratch because I was unable to find a way to hook up the throttle cable any other way. I was able to achieve this by making a cross shaft inside the cowl with the throttle pedal welded to one end and a lever fastened to the other end outside of the cowl, that the cable attached to. Building the throttle this way kept the cable relatively straight, which in turn did not create a place for the cable to bind. It actually turned out very well and works great.

The battery is put back in the stainless steel battery box that I have already built and strapped down with an inexpensive hold down strap that I purchased at an auto parts store.
