Aluminum Teardrop Trailer

 

This Aluminum Teardrop Trailer was all hand built influenced by the original Teardrops built after WWII. The framework is constructed of box tubing and skinned with .062 Aluminum. The walls and roof are completely insulated with 1” fiberglass. The interior walls are finished with oak paneling. The sleeping compartment has oak cabinets and a queen size bed. The rear compartment is a self-contained stainless steel and aluminum kitchen, complete with two burner stove, icebox and storage compartments.

 

 

Mini Teardrop Trailer

 

I hand built this Aluminum Teardrop Trailer to pull behind my Roadster so I could haul the Pedal Car to shows.

 It was built similar the larger version except it has an aluminum diamond plate floor in the single compartment.

 

Tiny Teardrop

 
I built this tiny Teardrop to pull behind the Pedal Car. It is a 1/3 scale model of the Mini Teardrop. It has an all aluminum body and a stainless steel frame. It is 32" long and functions as a rolling ice chest!  A wagon type handle can be added so it could be pulled by hand.
